New Online Course!
For the past few years, I have not only been working with clients locally, but have also been coaching people from all over the world on how to use positive methods to work with show dogs. As ridiculous as it may sound, this is a concept that is not widely accepted and people have a very difficult time finding help and support in this area. I coach people through phone consults, my Positive Training for Show Dogs Facebook page and my Clickershowdogs yahoogroup. Now, I have taken the next step in helping people out of my area.
The first Positive Training for Show Dogs Online Course here! The first session of this course will be offered beginning on April 8, 2013. If you are interested in learning more about it, please check out this link!

Continuing Education
As most of you know, I am committed to continued education. I think that being in this profession, I have an obligation to continue to learn and grow. This means, not only keeping up with the latest information on how animals learn and training information, but also on improving my own training skills.
I am excited to be going to train with Lara Joseph this month. Lara is a well known bird trainer and enrichment expert. In addition to parrots, Lara works with birds of prey and other wild birds. I am going to Ohio, to spend two days with Lara, for one-on-one training. I am really looking forward to this trip and can't wait to report back to you with details.
As an animal trainer, I think it is important to try and work with as many different species as possible. Working with different types of animals makes us better trainers.
